This month, I had the pleasure to sit down with our INDEE girls Audrey.
- Can you tell us a bit more about yourself, your background, your interests and your goals?
My name’s Audrey Vigneron and I’m 15. I was born in Brussels on May 10th 2005. I’m part of a blended family, with an older sister and a pet dog. My roots are both in Belgium and the DRC.
When I’m older I hope to find a job that’ll make me want to get up in the morning. I’d also love a family, and not to have to worry about the financial side of things.
I guess I just want to be happy, and maybe live in London or New York. My dream job would be working as an editor-in-chief for a fashion magazine. I can just see myself becoming the next Anna Wintour ;-)
What makes me most happy are the people in my life. I love partying with friends and I enjoy the simple things in life like going for a walk in the forest, having dinner with my mates or a never-ending giggle with the girls.
- What kind of music do you listen to?
I listen to all kinds of music, from classical to pop and French variétés. I think I must have more than a thousand songs on my playlist, and they are all very different.
- What’s on your playlist at the moment?
Maintenant ou jamais – Catastrophe
Sexual Healing ; Kygo remix – Marvin Gaye
Brand New – Ben Rector
Middle – DJ Snake, Bipolar Sunshine
Let me hold you – Netsky, Hybride Minds
Young Folks – Peter Bjorn and John
Caroline – Arlo Parks
Ms – alt-J
Hello – Martin Solveig, Dragonette
Unwritten – Natasha Bedingfield
- Can you tell us more about your personal style? Any fashion icons you get your inspiration from?
I’ve always loved color but I never twear more than 2 colors at once. I love combining several items in the same color to create a monochrome look and I never wear black. For me, a successful outfit mixes a strong piece with a more fun, casual one.
My style icons are my mum, my friends and the people around me. I also get inspiration from the characters of the series I watch.
- How important is fashion and modelling to you?
I’ve always felt fashion was a way to express oneself. It’s something that I have dreamt of since I was a little girl. I have been thinking about getting a little more serious about my modeling and perhaps joining an agency, but it takes a lot of courage to do so.
- How long have you been part of the INDEE adventure and how do you feel about the brand?
I joined the INDEE adventure in September 2019. I appreciate the quality of the garments, the cut and the general style of the clothes as well as the fact that it is a sustainable brand produced in Europe. But I guess what I love most is that it is fun and full of colors.
- Has your experience with INDEE changed the way you dress?
I was already wearing lots of color so my style didn’t change that much. Let’s just say the brand is definitely a good fit for me!
- What are your SS 2021 must-haves?
